Problem Statement: The care center provides meals to children that attend the care center. Currently the budget is stretched to provide only a very basic meal to the kids. The goal is to provide more protein in their diets. The funding of this grant will help accomplish this.
Objectives: The nutrition program will consist of one meal per day, five days a week for 30+ children at a cost of $1450 for the entire year. This would provide the kids the ability to have additional vegetables or possibly eggs with their hot meals and peanut butter for their sandwiches.
